How the Australian Government talks about its use of AI
Since February 2025, non-corporate Commonwealth entities have had to publish an AI transparency statement: a public page saying how they use AI and how they manage its risks. 95 of the 96 agencies required to publish have done so; the remaining agency (NEPA, 1 July 2026) was created recently. This site keeps the versions it finds and summarises what changed.
Each square is an agency, shaded by how much of its statement is in its own words (bespoke) rather than shared with other agencies (borrowed).
